Sustainable Agricultural Community:
Current project:
- Feeding program for selected underfed and poor young people in the community.
Medium-term projects:
- Creation of a high school scholarship program for young people for the purpose of developing agricultural talent. Will cover tuition, room and board, and living stipend.
- Creation of a flagship organic garden which utilizes efficient and low-cost seeding and irrigation technologies, on a plot of land made available to us by the local high school.
Long-term projects:
- Development of synergistic relationships with local agricultural producers and sellers to link the garden with the wider agricultural community.
- Creation of a volunteer brigade to teach new agricultural techniques and develop technologies for the local farmers.
- Creation of viable/profitable organic movement in the community, by improving logistics of planting, selling and marketing to outside areas.
- Creation of permanent local office to continue operations and fundraising for the Sustainable Agricultural Community project, in cooperation with local population and authorities.
